I was born in La Paz, Bolivia, where I lived until I was twenty years old. I moved to the United States in 1997. I was introduced to Graphic Design and Multimedia in 1998 at Mission College in Santa Clara, California. I moved to Salt Lake City in 1999 where I have lived ever since. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish
I started working in the printing industry in 1999, first as a press helper in a packaging company, then I worked as a press operator, assistant production manager and lastly as a Pre Press manager, this until 2003.
In 2003 I decided to make a change of direction in my career, I started working as a Multimedia Developer for a small Salt Lake City company where I developed my skills in Web Design and Flash Development.
In 2004 I received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Multimedia and Computer Graphics from the Utah Career College.
Currently I work as the Art Director of a Web Design and development company. My experience allows me to move freely between print and web design. Also my experience in printing and project managing allow me to interact with clients and vendors alike. I can bring a project from conception to final printed and web delivered product .
In 2005 I was invited to work as an Instructor at Utah Career College where I teach classes such as Pre-Press and Graphic File Output, Advanced Web Graphics (Flash) and Image Manipulation (Photoshop).
I have also been working as a Freelance Designer, working with various projects both in the print and web.
